Rockies Analyst - Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is obviously special and he has yet to tap out his potential. Health seems to be his biggest enemy. If he can keep his body in one piece, highly conditioned at all times as well, he's the leader on this team and its' best player. He hits, hits for power, drives in runs, and plays quality defense. He's committed to the Rockies, wants to be great, works at being great and only needs a better surrounding cast to show more on the field. He hit .302 with 36 doubles, 30 HRs and 105 RBI, in 143 games.

He's the Rockies' MVP in 2011 and the Hitter of the Year.

The starting pitcher of the year is Jhoulys Chacin, even with his 11-14 record and 3.62 ERA in 194 innings. He's not fully developed and his ceiling is much higher than he's showing but he posted a career high in victories, stayed healthy, accepted greater responsibility when Jorge De La Rosa went down for the season with an injury and Ubaldo Jimenez struggled and was traded.

Relief pitcher of the year is Rafael Betancourt. He posted a 2.89 ERA, had a 9/1 K/BB rate and took over for Huston Street as the closer. He has proven to be a brilliant acquisition for general manager Dan O'Dowd in a trade with Cleveland for Connor Graham.

The bench player of the year - Jason Giambi. His age is not preventing him from producing. He hit .260 with 13 HRs and 32 RBI in only 64 games. His slugging percentage - .603.

Rookie of the year has to be reliever Rex Brothers. He went 1-2 with a 2.88 ERA in 48 games and struck out over 13 batters per nine innings. Starter Juan Nicasio won four games and may have contended for this award if not for a near-fatal accident on the mound.
